The automated elections revolutionized the system with technology that aids the counting, consolidating, canvassing and the transmitting, ultimately leading to fairer and faster voting with little to no human intervention. The credibility and transparent nature of these machines has received even a stronger and more positive response from the public, putting faith into “free elections” once again.
As an advocate of electoral reforms to strengthen our democratic institutions, the Stratbase ADR Institute and Democracy Watch Philippines, in partnership with Pulse Asia Research, Inc., held yesterday a media briefing on the results of a 2019 elections survey.
