With the upcoming presidential elections, the De La Salle University Economics Organization organized a Young Economists Learning and Lecture Series (YELLS) event on political economy with the theme, “Explaining the Why: The Economic Rationale Behind Policies to the Youth”.

One of its keynote speakers was Democracy Watch Lead Convenor Dindo Manhit. Also among the speakers was Prof. Ronald U. Mendoza, Ph.D., from the Ateneo de Manila University.
